Journal Pages-influenced

Some more art journal pages..this time the assignment was Gluebooks...haphazard collage with paper ephemera...but as usual I could not give in to chaos and wound up with not only an arranged series of collages but a theme. Gah. Heavily influenced by reading the DaVinci code, the notion of the Divine Feminine and the balance of the sexes crept into one...and messages in art in another...Ah, well, I like them anyway. Also a few other random pages...

gluebooking is my form of photoshop. i go for the actual paper and gluestick. i'll also admit to being scared/enamored/disdainful of all that digital crap. easier for me to just stick an odd piece of stuff in with my scattered little notes to self.

but yours... so great! don't you just love it when the theme comes out by accident? good lookin schtuffies, sweetie.

Nici, these are all so beautiful! You inspire me to get back to art journaling. It's such a guilty pleasure for me that I tend to put it on the back burner.
